Expert evidence on rare bats for High Speed Rail 2 (HS2)

We were commissioned by the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) to review and produce a full report on the High Speed 2 rail Environmental Statement, including the approach taken and proposed mitigation, in relation to the potential impact on protected Bechstein’s bats in the Bernwood Forest area. The report was submitted to parliament as part of BBOWT’s consultation response, and we provided expert evidence to the Select Committee.
